Every three months Alesong pulls four new or returning beers out of barrels after months or years of aging. · Rhino Suit ‘18– Rhino Suit was the first spirits barrel-aged beer we released at Alesong (way back in the winter of 2016!), but remains one of our favorites. Alesong Gose Añejo. Eugene, Oregon's Alesong Brewing and Blending have announced four new quarterly beer release: Gose Añejo, Raindrops on Roses, Magic is Real and Coconut Rhino Suit.. Every three months Alesong pulls four new or returning beers out of barrels after months or years of aging. Rhino Suit was the first spirits-barrel-aged beer we released at Alesong (way back in the winter of 2016!), but remains one of our favorites.

This beer started from our typical Rhino Suit process— we brewed an imperial stout with the addition of lactose (a sugar non-fermentable by yeast) resulting in a the rich and creamy beer that we all know is Rhino Suit.

Down south over yonder hills, just outside Eugene, Oregon, Alesong Brewing & Blending focuses almost exclusively on small batches of oak-aged and Belgian-inspired brews since it first began producing beer in early 2016. Alesong has stood out among the crowd with its blending and barrel-aging techniques. Mocha Rhino Suit was first released back in 2017 and we haven’t forgotten just how well those velvety layers of chocolate intermingle with the roasty flavors of the coffee and malts. The decadent beer won us over, and we find ourselves thinking of it often (i.e., every morning when we wish our morning coffee was just a little more potent, not that we would ever indulge before noon…).
